General

All of the data that we collect about users is anonymized and aggregated, whether we collect it ourselves or receive it from a partner. We do not associate any of the information we collect with individual users.

We may use any information that we collect, as described in this privacy policy, to analyze how users use the app; to maintain, improve, and develop the app or any of our other existing or new apps or services; to develop our business strategy; to enable features of our app to work, such as in-app advertisements; or for any other legitimate business purpose. We may disclose this information to people with whom we work or manage our business, or if we are legally compelled to do so.

Although we do not associate the data we collect with individual users, our partners, such as Google (with whom we partner to display ads within the app), may associate with individual users the data that we enable them to collect through the app. The privacy practices of our partners are described in this privacy policy and in the privacy policies of our partners, links to which are provided in this document.

Apple's application analytics services

We make use of Apple's application analytics services, which are included with the iOS operating system.

If your iOS system settings are configured to share analytics data with third-party app developers, Apple will send us anonymized and aggregated information incorporating crash data and statistics about how you use the app. We may use this information for the purposes described in the "General" section of this privacy policy.

To opt out of Apple's application analytics data collection from your iOS device, go to Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements, and turn off Share With App Developers.

For more information about Apple's application analytics services, and for information about Apple's policies pertaining to the collection, use, and disclosure of this data, see Apple's privacy disclosures pertaining to app analytics and Apple's privacy policy.

In-app advertising

We show advertisements within the app in order to generate revenue.

We partner with Google using its AdMob service to show ads.

By integrating AdMob with the app, we authorize Google to collect information about you, your use of the app, and your interactions with advertisements within the app. For details about what Google collects and how it uses and discloses that information, please refer to Google's privacy disclosures pertaining to its collection and use of information from apps that use its services.

The information Google collects includes: The app store from which you downloaded the app; the version of the app you are currently using; the country where you reside; the brand name of your mobile device; the category of your mobile device (e.g. phone or tablet); the model name of your mobile device (e.g. iPhone 13 Pro); the approximate date and time when you first opened the app; the language setting of your device; and the version number of your device's operating system. Google also collects information about your interactions with ads, such as which ads you see and when you click on ads. Google may also collect crash logs if the app crashes, and information about app performance (including app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage). Google also collects your IP address, which can be used to approximate your location (such as what city you are in).

For more information about what Google collects when we use their advertising services, please view the following support pages from Google: 1, 2, 3. Please note that Travel Checklist Plus does not enable Google to collect the iOS Identifier for Advertising (IDFA), and ads shown in Travel Checklist Plus are non-personalized.

Google uses the information it collects for the purposes described in, and in accordance with, its privacy policies and support articles (as linked above). Google may make some of this information available to us in anonymized and aggregated form. We may use this information for the purposes described in the "General" section of this privacy policy.

Ads are non-personalized

We instruct Google to serve only non-personalized ads to all customers, so no matter where you reside, Google does not use information about your past behavior to show you ads within Travel Checklist Plus.

California residents

We instruct Google to serve only non-personalized ads to California residents. Google determines whether you reside in California based on your IP address. If you reside in California, Google limits its use of advertising-related data collected from Travel Checklist Plus, and Google does not use information about your past behavior to personalize ads in Travel Checklist Plus.

Users under 13

Travel Checklist Plus is not targeted towards users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information through Travel Checklist Plus from anybody under the age of 13. By agreeing to this privacy policy and using the app, you agree that you are 13 years of age or older.
